"If you could travel to any time -- past or future -- when would it
be and why?"

"I would travel back to 1968 in New York state and buy a lot on the
farm across from the Woodstock farm. I'd build a gas station, motel, and
McDonalds. By the end of that week a year later when the concert was over
I'd be set for life."

"1956, to see Elvis Presley perform live, just once. ;)"

"Oh, I'd have them send me back to last Thursday night so I could pay
my phone bill on time. (Bonus points for the reference, it's an easy one.
:-) )"

"...As for myself, I think I would pack very carefully and try
for the future. To a time when man is colonizing other planets - if we
ever get that far - which looks rather doubtful at this time. Surely if
man gets far enough to colonize other planets his medical technology
level will also have increased so that factors like cancer will be less
likely to occur and people will be healthier. Alas, with human nature
being what it is we are more likely to degrade into barbarianism than we
are to settle the stars without making the same mistakes we have made
with our own planet."
